Katie is board certified in family medicine with The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has 20 years of experience in healthcare of which 14 have been as a nurse practitioner.

She is former adjunct faculty member at Columbus State University teaching pathophysiology, pharmacology, as well as clinical courses.
